SUMMARY OF DUTIES / 工作职责:
The mission is seeking to fill a Maintenance Technician position for the common services program as well as various general services positions that may arise following this selection process. These positions provide general repairs to the buildings and furniture in the Embassy.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mastering the characteristics and construction techniques related to various paints, mastering construction techniques to various tile work, and environmental protection standards.

Mastering the characteristics and construction techniques of plastering, grinding, spraying, masonry, and various ceramic tiles, floor tiles, and stone materials.
-
Ability to use woodworking machines and hand tools to make simple furniture (such as bookcases), doors and windows, wooden floors, etc.
-
Installation and maintenance of office furniture, cabinets, doors and windows, ceilings, and light steel keel partition walls.
-
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water, and waste systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.

Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors; Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels

Supervise and inspect the work of contractors' technicians to ensure compliance with professional specifications, national/local standards, and other contents of the contract, and manage the project progress to ensure that all tasks are completed within the agreed time limit.

In order to perform the duties relevant to this job, the following experience is required.

3 years cumulative experience in maintaining office buildings or working in construction and renovation fields (including public renovation projects), with demonstrated technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: Painting, Masonry, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical.
